Review by hotel critic
I recently had the pleasure of staying at Swiss Lodge, an experience that was delightfully layered with culinary exploration. Nestled just a stone's throw from the shimmering lake, this hotel's location made wandering through the main district a breeze. The reception staff greeted us warmly, instantly making us feel at home. One culinary highlight was dining at one of their Michelin-starred restaurants. I savored a delicate local delicacy that brought a taste of Ticino right to my plate, harmoniously paired with a glass of award-winning wine from the region. The ambiance was inviting, allowing for a comfortable evening of cross-cultural dining-an absolute joy for a landscape photographer like myself, appreciating the beauty on a plate as much as in my surroundings. While the breakfast spread was adequate, it didn't match the high standards set by the evening menu. But this minor detail didn't overshadow the overall experience. If you're looking for a cozy retreat with a culinary edge, Swiss Lodge is certainly worth considering for your next gourmet getaway. Just don't miss the chance to explore the walking paths along the lake!
